Every moment of Ramdan is priceless and we should not let it go without earning reward from Allah SWT. The last 10 days of Ramdan are even more valuable than first twenty days due to many reasons. Allah’s Messenger used to exert himself in devotion during the last ten nights to a greater extent than at any other time.” (Muslim).
The Prophet said: “Whoever prays during the night of Qadr with faith and hoping for its reward will have all of his previous sins forgiven.” (Bukhari and Muslim recorded from Abu Huraira).
We take break from our work when we have some important events in our life. Ramadan is time for blessings and salvation so not we should take break from our jobs and focus on to focus on worshiping and thanking our Creator.
Our beloved prophet Mohammed peace be upon him used to spend the last ten days and nights of Ramadan in the mosque for Itikaf. Itekaf is cutting off your relations with the world and devoting all your time in zikr, salat, reading Quran etc. Its sunnah to do itekaf for last ten days of Ramadan but if you’re not able to spare time for sunnah itekaf you can also do it for few days or even one night.
Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: I asked the Messenger of Allah: ‘O Messenger of Allah, if I know what night is the night of Qadr, what should I say during it?’ He said: ‘Say: O Allah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.’ “(Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Tirmidhi).
Spend your time in reciting Quran because it’s a great deal and there are many virtues for reading Quran and following it. Try to increase the time for Quran recitation in ending days on Ramdan.
Ramadan is time when most us of get closer to Quran and read it more than any other part of year. So this is best time to go deeply into the meaning and understand Quran. You should follow and reflect what you learn from Quran.
Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger said: Whoever stands (in prayer) in Laylatul Qadr while nourishing his faith with self-evaluation, expecting reward from Allah, will have all of his previous sins forgiven. [Bukhari and Muslim).
So, pray longer, deeper and meaningful in last days of Ramadan and carefully reflect what the meaning when you pray.
It is the time when you should ask the Question you need that need to be asked from yourself. It is the best time for self evaluation and knowing where you’re going. Feel happy for the good you have done and remorse for the bad you have done and seek forgives for you bad acts. Doing this will make you closer to Allah Subhan Wa Taala.
Quran reading is completed in lmost all masjids Quran in Tarawih prayers in Ramadan specially in last day of Ramdan. Make sure to attend the dua after the completion and try to take your family to this gathering.

The last but not least; make a “to do checklist” for each Night of Decree. This is the night better than a thousand months so pick the things from your checklist and perform them in expected laylatul Qadr. Also define the sequence you would like to do things in.
“Say (O Muhammad to mankind): “If you (really) love Allah, then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic monotheism, follow the Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Quran: 3:31)

Ibn Abi Al-Dunya narrated: Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “The best loved slaves to Allah are those who are made to love virtue and loving virtuous deeds is made lovely to them.”
According to Shaykh Ibn al-Qayyim (rah) there are ten ways of developing love with Allah.
Reciting Quran, reflecting Quran and to learn Quran so that one can interpret the meaning of Quran. Quran is word of Allah. When you read Quran its like listening to Allah SWT. Interpreting Quran help us to get the true message of Quran and so the we can implement its teachings in our life. It will make us obedient follower and we will we benifited in this life and hereafter.
After obliagatory worship and duties if we make some time for optional deeds this will draw us more closer to Allah. It includes nawafil’s, fasting, umrah, sadqah and others.
It is one of 10 ways for developing love of Allah. It is remembering Allah with tounge, heart or limbs. Continious Dikhr help us to remind Allah all the time and this will ensures faith and iman.
In our daily lives we prefer our parents, siblings, friends and loved ones over ourselves. In the same way if we prefer Allah love over our loves, desires, and intentions. This will be best way to show your love for Allah. We must that what Allah loves for us is best for us.
Remembering Allah by Contemplating and deliberating over his Names and Attributes is one 10 practices mentioned by Shaykh Ibn al-Qayyim to develope love for Allah. It reminds us that Allah is very closer us and He is keenly observing our each and every act and movement. So, you’ll always be fear of Allah and you will not take any step which shows disobedience to your lord.
We are blessed with countless favours and bounties by Allah. So we must acknowledge and remember all blessings of Allah. If we always stay thankful to Allah for his countless blessings Allah will give us more blessings and reward us genreously.
We human’s are very week and fragile creatures. Being proud and braggadacio does not suits us. We are nothing without Allah and we are totaly dependant on His mercy. Being humble and submissive to will of Allah will definetly make our realation strong with Allah.
If we divide a night in 3 equall parts, the last third part is most suitable for Quran reading as Allah descends to lowest heaven in that part of night. Reading Quran at that time will make us loved and blessed by Allah and It is best time for prayers and seeking forgiveness and repenting on our sins.
We can find people around us who are closer to Allah. We can learn a lot from them and if we regularly sit in their gathering we will get to know how to please Allah. We can take their advice and listen them carefully about different topics.
This world is full of elements which can distract us from Allah. Like TV and Mobile phones. If minimize use of time consuming activities we can make more time to indulge in activites which are discussed above to develope love for Allah.
